General information, not advice

This page is for information only: it is not financial, legal or tax advice, nor a recommendation to use any provider or to let an AI agent trade. AgentBroker Index has no commercial relationship with the providers listed, is not paid to include them and uses no referral links. We do not offer or promote financial services in Argentina, Mexico or anywhere else. Before opening an account, check the provider's registration with your country's authority (CNV in Argentina, CNBV in Mexico, CMF in Chile, SFC in Colombia). AI agents can make mistakes or act on manipulated content; investing involves risk of loss.

Hosted MCP

Moonbird México, S.A. de C.V.
Hosted MCP (https://api.ripio.com/mcp) with OAuth sign-in on Ripio's page, where you pick a preset: Read-only (balances, order history), Operate (place and cancel orders), Full (adds withdrawals) or Custom. With the matching permissions the assistant can send crypto to an address and make withdrawals (e.g. PIX or bank transfers), so a Full preset lets an agent move money out. You accept a liability disclaimer and can revoke access.

Vifaru, S.A. de C.V., Casa de Bolsa
Official open-source local MCP (webull-inc/webull-openapi-mcp) supports the Mexico region (developer.webull.com.mx): you run it with your OpenAPI App Key/Secret and 2FA. It can preview, place, modify and cancel stock orders, with risk controls (order value and quantity caps, symbol whitelist). Webull's hosted Cloud MCP for ChatGPT/Claude is US-only for now.

API
No official agent product
Mexico: Crypto platform: no CNBV/Banxico financial authorisation found
Official REST Trading API (v3, HMAC-signed API keys) for orders, conversions and margin trading. No official agent/MCP product found (no MCP server card on bitso.com); MCP servers for Bitso exist but are community-built.

Leveraged products (futures, perpetuals, margin) are high risk: you can lose more than you expect, quickly. This page describes AI-agent access only; we do not promote leveraged trading.

Crypto-assets are highly volatile and largely unregulated as investments; you may lose all the money you invest.

Availability: ✓ available · ◐ operates in the country, agent feature unconfirmed · ? not published · ✕ not available. Local registration is shown as each provider publishes it and, where available, the official register; it is not a solvency assessment.

Regulatory notes

Mexico

  • Casas de bolsa are authorised and supervised by the CNBV. Webull México operates through Vifaru, S.A. de C.V., Casa de Bolsa.
  • For crypto exchanges we found no CNBV or Banco de México authorisation as a financial entity. In 2019 a CNBV official said they can keep operating outside the CNBV-regulated perimeter, with anti-money-laundering duties. We never label them 'authorised' in the EU (MiCA) sense. That reference is from 2019; confirm the current position with the CNBV.

For readers in Spain: none of the Latin American providers on this page is shown as authorised to serve Spain (CNMV and ESMA registers); the Spain answer is on the main index.

FAQ

Can I use Bitso with Claude?

Not officially: we found no official Bitso connector or MCP. Bitso has an official REST API (orders, conversions, margin) an agent can call; Bitso MCP servers are community-built.

Is there a broker in Mexico with an MCP?

Webull México: Webull's official open-source MCP (webull-openapi-mcp) supports the Mexico region. You run it locally with your OpenAPI keys; it can preview, place, modify and cancel stock orders within configurable limits.

Are crypto exchanges authorised by the CNBV?

We found no CNBV or Banxico authorisation as a financial entity for the exchanges on this page. In 2019 the CNBV said they may operate outside its perimeter with anti-money-laundering duties.
