General information, not advice

This page is for information only: it is not financial, legal or tax advice, nor a recommendation to use any provider or to let an AI agent trade. AgentBroker Index has no commercial relationship with the providers listed, is not paid to include them and uses no referral links. We do not offer or promote financial services in Argentina, Mexico or anywhere else. Before opening an account, check the provider's registration with your country's authority (CNV in Argentina, CNBV in Mexico, CMF in Chile, SFC in Colombia). AI agents can make mistakes or act on manipulated content; investing involves risk of loss.

InvertirOnline S.A.U.
Hosted remote MCP with OAuth sign-in (27 tools: 15 read-only, 4 validation, 8 operational such as orders, caución, mutual funds and stop-loss/take-profit). Three access modes you choose and can change later through a single-use link: 'Solo lectura' (read tools only), 'Confirmar operaciones' (orders, caución and mutual-fund subscriptions/redemptions only execute when you open a single-use, expiring confirmation link; the direct-execution tools are hidden) and 'Automático' (the MCP executes operations on its own after validating them). Every operation goes through a validation step first.

Moonbird SRL (PSAV 36); OTC Investment Solutions SA (PSAV 37)
Hosted MCP (https://api.ripio.com/mcp) with OAuth sign-in on Ripio's page, where you pick a preset: Read-only (balances, order history), Operate (place and cancel orders), Full (adds withdrawals) or Custom. With the matching permissions the assistant can send crypto to an address and make withdrawals (e.g. PIX or bank transfers), so a Full preset lets an agent move money out. Hosted MCP
AR: Not published MX: Not publishedChile: CMF (Chile)Hosted MCP (https://mcp.zestyfinance.com/mcp) with OAuth sign-in. The agent proposes and you confirm every order; configurable budget and notifications; no withdrawal tools. US stocks (market, limit, stop, trailing stop and bracket orders), Chilean shares (limit orders), CLP/USD exchange and recurring plans that you confirm.

Leveraged products (futures, perpetuals, margin) are high risk: you can lose more than you expect, quickly. This page describes AI-agent access only; we do not promote leveraged trading.

Crypto-assets are highly volatile and largely unregulated as investments; you may lose all the money you invest.

Regulatory notes

Argentina

  • Brokers (ALyC and other agents) register with the CNV (Comisión Nacional de Valores); IOL invertironline is ALyC no. 273.
  • Crypto exchanges register in the CNV PSAV register. Per the CNV wording Ripio and Bitso publish, this is for anti-money-laundering control and does not imply a licence or CNV supervision, so we never call it an authorisation.
  • CNV General Resolution 1048/2025 requires agents' advertising to show their CNV registration number and limits advertising through third parties. This page is not advertising.

Mexico

  • Casas de bolsa are authorised and supervised by the CNBV. Webull México operates through Vifaru, S.A. de C.V., Casa de Bolsa.
  • For crypto exchanges we found no CNBV or Banco de México authorisation as a financial entity. In 2019 a CNBV official said they can keep operating outside the CNBV-regulated perimeter, with anti-money-laundering duties. We never label them 'authorised' in the EU (MiCA) sense. That reference is from 2019; confirm the current position with the CNBV.

Outside the pilot

  • Chile: Zesty is in the CMF register of financial service providers (Fintech Law) and has a hosted MCP; listed for regional context.
  • Colombia and Brazil: not covered yet.

For readers in Spain: none of the Latin American providers on this page is shown as authorised to serve Spain (CNMV and ESMA registers); the Spain answer is on the main index.

FAQ

Which Latin American brokers connect to ChatGPT or Claude?

Per their documentation: IOL invertironline (Argentina), Ripio (crypto) and Zesty (Chile) have hosted MCP servers that work with ChatGPT and Claude. Webull México has a local MCP for developers. Bitso offers only an official API; Bitso MCP servers are community-built.

Can an agent trade without my confirmation?

It depends. IOL offers a confirm-each-operation mode and an 'Automático' mode that executes after validation. Ripio uses permission presets (read-only, operate, or full with withdrawals). Zesty asks you to confirm every order.

Are these providers authorised?

In Argentina, IOL is a CNV-registered agent; Ripio and Bitso hold CNV PSAV registrations, which the CNV says are not a licence. In Mexico, Webull México operates through a CNBV-supervised casa de bolsa; for crypto exchanges we found no CNBV/Banxico financial authorisation. None is shown as authorised in Spain.
