Does DEGIRO have an MCP server, or can it connect to Claude or ChatGPT?
Quick answer: No. As of 26 Oct 2026, DEGIRO offers no MCP server, public API or official AI integration. The degiro-mcp you may find is a community project: read-only, built on DEGIRO's private endpoints, and it needs your username and password. Trade Republic is in the same spot and XTB shut its API on 14 Mar 2025. If you want an AI connected to your broker, 5 brokers authorised in Spain do document official agent access, such as Scalable Capital and MyInvestor.

"degiro mcp" is a common search among people who already use Claude or ChatGPT to follow their investments. The answer is disappointing, with nuances: a community server exists and works, with risks worth knowing, and some brokers licensed in Spain do let you connect an AI assistant officially. Here are both, from our tracker data.

The community degiro-mcp: what it does and the risks
It is a local MCP server published by an independent developer on PyPI (pypi.org/project/degiro-mcp ). Per its own docs it only reads: portfolio, cash, trades, dividends and open orders. It has no tools to place, change or cancel orders.
- It needs your DEGIRO username and password (and, for logins without tapping your phone, your 2FA setup key), stored on your computer.
- It uses the same private endpoints as DEGIRO's website and app. DEGIRO can change them at any time and the server would stop working without notice.
- The author warns that DEGIRO's terms may not allow automated access to your account and that you use it at your own risk.
Trade Republic is similar: the servers you will find reverse-engineer its private API and may breach its terms.

Is degiro-mcp safe to use?
