What is the difference between the MyInvestor and Scalable Capital MCP servers?
Quick answer: Both have an official hosted MCP server, but they do very different things. MyInvestor's only queries its public catalogue (funds, ETFs and portfolios) and never sees your account. Scalable Capital's (Agentic Investing, since 25 Aug 2026) works inside your account: the agent prepares stock and ETF orders and you approve each one before it executes.

MyInvestor and Scalable Capital have a lot in common: both launched an official MCP in 2026, both work with ChatGPT and Claude and both serve Spain, so they look alike. They are not: one is a product search tool, the other is permissioned access to your portfolio.

How to connect each one
MyInvestor
- Copy the server URL:
https://mcp.myinvestor.es/mcp. You don't need to be a customer. - In Claude, open Connectors, click «+ Add», choose «Custom» then «Web», paste the URL and leave OAuth empty.
- In ChatGPT, the connector's official page opens the app ready to add: just click «Connect».

Scalable Capital
- Turn access on in your account: Profile › Security › Agentic Investing.
- Pick a permission level: read-only, restricted or full.
- Add the server

Which one fits what you want to do?
- Research before deciding. If you want the AI to help you find and compare funds, ETFs or portfolios, MyInvestor's catalogue is open to anyone, account or not. You finish any purchase on its site or app.
- Let the AI work on your portfolio. If you are a Scalable customer and want the agent to prepare orders, Agentic Investing is the only one of the two that does it, always with your approval order by order.
- Moving money. Neither leaves it to the AI: MyInvestor never touches your account and, at Scalable, agents never handle payments.
Scalable does not publish which countries Agentic Investing covers. It operates in Spain but has not confirmed the feature for Spanish customers explicitly: check your profile.
Licence for Spain: from the CNMV / Banco de España registers and the ESMA MiCA register (last checked 20 Oct 2026; each provider page shows its own check date); open a provider for the entity and register link.
Agent feature: available · the provider operates there but hasn't said whether its agent feature works there · not available · ? not published. This is separate from the licence: a provider can be authorised to serve Spain while its agent feature's availability in Spain is still unpublished.

Can the MyInvestor MCP buy funds for me?
No. It is read-only: your assistant queries the public catalogue and has no access to your account or positions. You complete purchases on MyInvestor's site or app.
Can the AI trade on its own at Scalable Capital?
No. Per Scalable, the agent prepares orders and you approve each one before it executes. Agents never handle payments and you can switch access off at any time.
Do I need to be a customer to use these MCP servers?

Yes. MyInvestor is MyInvestor Banco, S.A., a Spanish credit institution (Banco de España and CNMV). Scalable Capital operates as Scalable Capital Bank GmbH, a German credit institution supervised by BaFin and registered with the CNMV for cross-border services.
